Finances and Freedom: A Match Made in Heaven with Matt Lozano and Jonathan and Amanda Teixeira
Meet Amanda and Jonathan Teixeira, cofounders of WalletWin, a ministry that helps folks in all stages of life improve their finances while getting at some of the deeper places of the heart!
Learn the Teixeiras’ story – how they met and what inspired them to start a finance ministry.
Matt shares how finances can reveal heart issues and often come up in Unbound sessions. Wounds, mistrust, and family history can all bring about devastating patterns of financial behavior.
Jonathan tells of his own history of “bank-balance budgeting” and his path toward creating a different type of budget. Once married, he and Amanda allowed finances to become a unifying component rather than a wedge of division.
The Teixeiras help couples struggling with finances to speak a common language about money and make it fun through ideas like having a “budget party.”
We hear intriguing terms such as “money milestones” and “maximum fruitfulness,” ideas that suggest healthy, goal-oriented money management. People learn how to eliminate debt, live on one income, buy a home, and pay cash for a vehicle.
