Open Doors: Conversations with Heart of the Father
Open Doors is a conversation about inviting God’s love, presence, and power into our hearts. We are friends and teammates from Heart of the Father Ministries who share in the mission of setting captive hearts free through Unbound ministry. We’ll be touching on the impact of Neal Lozano’s book, Unbound, and hearing stories of lives changed through Unbound ministry. At times we’ll dig deep into the Five Keys of Unbound, simple responses to the gospel with profound impact on hearts and lives. Join us for stories, insights, reflections, and prayer as we seek Him together! Learn more at www.heartofthefather.com. Music by Christian Harper. Artwork by Rosemary Strohm at Command-S.
Open Doors: Conversations with Heart of the Father
Lists, Laughter, and Learning to Live Freely with Lisa Livezey and Ann Stevens
After being set free in an Unbound session, what happens if we start struggling again? In this episode, we hear from Ann Stevens – Freedom in Christ conference speaker, Basic Ecourse instructor, and longtime friend of Unbound.
Enjoy a fun, helpful volley of ideas filled with laughter and lists as Ann gives suggestions for staying free. We hear Ann’s “Painfully Obvious Points,” with Number One being – There IS a battle!
But Ann doesn’t leave us discouraged – she tells where the battle lies, who the enemy is, and how we can win! Her advice overflows with personal examples and colorful illustrations that talk of caves, juniper bushes, and best (or worst?) of all – a toy train named Tootle.
“The battle is in my heart and mind and I have the stuff to win the battle!” Ann declares. “We have the weapons to destroy those faulty strongholds!”
Ann takes us one step further – sharing what it means to be free from something but also to be free for a greater purpose.
What is Ann’s favorite punctuation mark? Peruse these show notes – can you guess what it is? Check your answer in this refreshing episode.
