At times we’ll dig deep into the Five Keys of Unbound, simple responses to the gospel with profound impact on hearts and lives. Holding Fast to Hope with Jacqueline Harper, Jenn Lozano, and Lisa Livezey
Welcome to a new Advent season on Open Doors! In this first Advent episode , host Jacqueline joins friends Jenn and Lisa to explore the rich theme of hope. Together, they reflect on the difference between hope and optimism, drawing from this Sunday’s Advent readings in Isaiah, Romans, Thessalonians, and the Gospel call to “stay awake.”
Through stories, scripture, and lively conversation, including a few fun “Would You Rather?” Christmas questions, the trio unpacks hope as an active, expectant trust in God’s promises, even when circumstances feel uncertain. They share moving examples from personal life, history, and the saints, and offer encouragement for anchoring ourselves in Christ during seasons of waiting.
